Project Description

This is another 1972 house. It is a twin of 306 Smith. These clients had opened their now dining room to the kitchen and added a step down living room in the carport area many years ago. Now they were ready to complete the kitchen. The plan was to keep the existing footprint of the house and to keep costs within a reasonable amount. The old kitchen was gutted along with the paneling. Drywall was hung and finished and crown molding was installed. The cabinets selected were Painted Maple in a Butterscotch Glaze with Corian counters. The island was relocated and a work aisle of 42” was maintained. Many cabinets have roll-out shelves and there is a wastebasket roll-out unit. The stand alone unit which looks like a piece of furniture was built by stacking 4 separate cabinets and trimming it with crown. Click Images to Enlarge
